Janet Bateman (Consultant)
Janet's background is in education and training. She has spent over 18 years running teacher-training programmes both in the UK and overseas. Since moving into management development and consultancy ten years ago, Janet has worked with a range of clients in both the private and public sectors.
Her experience has been in universities, the NHS, financial services, international banking and the retail and leisure industries. Her specialist areas are in intercultural relations and written and oral communication.
Her style is facilitative and delegate-centred, encouraging reflection and self-knowledge. She enjoys interaction and activities which maximise practice.
She has an MA in Applied Linguistics and a teaching qualification. She is a Licentiate member for the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and has an NVQ level 4 Training and Development.
